It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Betty Vail of Harrison, Arkansas, born in Oakfield, Maine, who passed away at the age of 81, on June 24, 2020. She was predeceased by: her parents, Burnham Allen and Helen Allen (McKee); her brother Roland Allen; and her grandson Jeffery Tillman. She is survived by: her husband Johnny Vail; her children, Mark Gunter (Robin), Bryan Gunter (Cynthia), James Vail (Michelle), Kathy Smith (Bill) and Anne Vail; her sister Joyce Durepo (Ted); and her sisters-in-law, Jody Allen, Barbara Parker (Jimmy) and Janice Vail. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.
In compliance with the Arkansas Department of Health for COVID-19 and State Phase 2 Directives for funerals and visitations at the funeral home/church are limited to a 2/3 capacity of the facility.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials in Betty's memory be made to Alpena First Baptist Church, PO Box 130, Alpena, AR, 72611.
