He was predeceased by: his wife Lois Hosford Forbis; his siblings, Sylvia Barton, Vera Looney, Veda Adams, Hazel Phillips, Viola Rotten, Leola Miles, John Forbis, Frank Forbis and Denver Forbis; and his parents, Walter Forbis and Banta Medshker Forbis.
He is survived by: his children, Rickey Forbis (Nita) of Trumann, AR and Joyce Ann Austin (Timmy Joe) of Harrisburg, AR; and his sisters, Rachel Harris (Paul) of Memphis, TN and Mary Hale of Wynne, AR. He is also survived by three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
