Thurman Harris Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thurman Harris of Harrisburg, Arkansas, who passed away on March 14, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Bertha Mae Harris (Workman); his former wife Beatrice Ann Sepulvado; his wife Geneva Echols Harris; and his siblings, B. F. Harris, Dewey Harris, C. J. Harris, Ralph Harris, Wilma Allene Page, Evelyn Muse, Madge Self and Posie Churchwell.
He is survived by: his father Cleveland C. Harris; his sister Norma Sue Darr of Jonesboro; his children, Jimmy Harris (Cindy) of McAlpin, Ronnie Harris (Mary) of Texarkana, Gary Harris of Little Rock and Jan Murphy (Larry) of Bentonville; and his grandchildren, Owen Echols (Shelley) of Jonesboro, Jack Echols Jr. (Heather), Keith Echols, Barney Craig Echols (Amy) and Sharon Neal. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Jackson's Harrisburg Funeral Home (103 W Jackson St, Harrisburg, AR 72432). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Donations can be made in his honor to Samaritan's Purse in Watauga County, North Carolina or Florida Sheriff's Boys Ranch in Live oak, Florida.
