He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Carroll Sr. and Myrtle Cantrell Deramus (Hunter); his wife Betty Sue Cantrell; his son Lawerance Cantrell; and his brother Edward Cantrell.
He is survived by: his children, Charles Cantrell of Harrisburg, Leon Cantrell, Terry Cantrell of Jonesboro, Linda Coleman, Mary Cantrell and Margaret Romans. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren.
