She was predeceased by: her parents, Hazel Asher (Pennington) and Dee; her grandchild Caseleigh McKellar; and her son Roger McKellar. She is survived by: her husband Eddie Wortham; her children, Christina, Brian, Jason, Tasha, Justin (Allie), Cody and Jerad (Laurie); her siblings, Linda Pennington, Bobby Asher (Tony), Jimmy Asher, Kathy Johnson and Mericka Crowl; and her stepfather James Asher. She is also survived by 28 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family ask any and all donations be made in Marie's name to LeBonheur Children's Hospital 848 Adams Ave. Memphis, Tennessee 38103.
