With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marvin Kirby of Harrisburg, Arkansas, born in Water Valley, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 28, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Kirby (J. E.) and Marie Kirby; and his daughters, Sarah Louise and Elizabeth Marie. He is survived by: his wife Carol Kirby of Harrisburg; his siblings, Marlin Kirby and Sylvia Dail; and his grandchildren, Nekea Barnes (Steven Mitchell) of Piggott, Dante Leonard (Zane) of Harrisburg, Mason Barnes of Paragould, Jacob Wray (Darby) of Hindsville, Kensey Norman (Andy) of Maynard, Caden Wray of Harrisburg, Logan Wray of Harrisburg and Joshua Morton of Northport, AL. He is also survived by his seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the Harrisburg Volunteer Fire Department reflecting Avary's dedication to service and community.
