She was predeceased by: her parents, John Vail and Alberta Cole Vail; her husband James Doyle Barker; her son Stephen Monroe Barker; and her siblings, Berniece Pierce, Clara Cummings, Beatrice Corotto, J. P., Marvin Vail and James Vail.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Barker (Pam) of Harrisburg, Jimmy Barker (Terri) of Lepanto and Karen Hess of Hernando, MS; and her grandchildren, Tray Hess, Jennifer Barker, James Barker, Lara Stroud, April Gardner, Tori Smith, John Barker, Zachary Barker and Andrew Barker. She is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren.
