He was predeceased by: his parents, James Elvis and Lydia Chatman (Black); his daughter Phyllis Chatman Gray; his son-in-law Ranny E. Gray; and his siblings, Roger Chatman and Linda Tims.
He is survived by: his sons, Jimmy Chatman (Jana) of Batesville and Robert (Bobbyâ); and his siblings, Ronnie Chatman of Waldenburg, Jimmy Chatman of Weiner, Carol Chandler of Harrisburg and Sharon Miller of Jonesboro. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
