He was predeceased by: his parents, William Houston and Rosetta Elizabeth Barnhill (Roach); his son Therial Olen Barnhill; and his siblings, Isacc Houston Barnhill and Dicy Eudor Masters (Barnhill).
He is survived by: his children, Larry Barnhill, Shon Brown and Carla Johnson; his sister Glenda King of Harrisburg; and his grandchildren, Logan Ryals, Christopher Barnhill, Clifton McKellar, Larry James Jones, Ranay Noel Long, Jodie Barnhill, Stephanie Hassenplug, Austin Hawes, Jeannie Hudgen, Matthew Brown, Maria Bogard and Allen Armesteadt. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, and one great- great-grandchild.
