He was predeceased by: his parents, George McKellar and Vergie Gather McKellar; his wife Alma Jean Smith McKellar; his daughter Jenny McCleskey; and his siblings, Jerry McKellar, Jenetta, Georgia May McKellar, Gertie Fitzerald and Margaret Skaggs.
He is survived by: his children, Dennis McKellar of Jonesboro, Buddy McKellar (Jennifer) of Cherry Valley and Rose Marie Daniel of Blue Springs, MS; his sisters, Doris Jean McKellar of Harrisburg and Mary Linda Barber of Jonesboro, AR; and his grandchildren, Jonathan, Joshua, Rachel McKellar, Falicia, Jordan Daniel, Jamie, Kimberly Dixon and Eric McKellar.
