It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Freda Partain of Harrisburg, Arkansas, born in Fisher, Arkansas, who passed away on October 15, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Smith and Minnie Mae Smith (Matthew); her husband Carl Ray Partain; and her siblings, Donnie Smith and Christine Taylor.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carla Haley (Mike) of Barlett and Shelley VerBurg (Dan) of Piedmont; her brothers, J. C. Smith of Harrisburg and Roger Smith (Dale) of Pilot Oak; her brother-in-law J. R. Taylor of Harrisburg; and her grandchildren, Lindsay Good (Jason), Daniel VerBurg (Andrea) and Jason Wilhite. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
