She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucian Witt and Lilla Mae Witt (Beard); her husband Charles King; her son Charles Edward "Eddy" King, Jr.; and her brothers, Jack Tackett, Billy Witt and O'Neal Witt.
She is survived by: her daughter Penny Newberry (Steve); her grandchildren, Matt King (LeeAnn), Brandon King (Misty), Todd McCommon (Mindy), Jeremy McCommon (Christie) and Jakeb Newberry (Amber); her siblings, Ricky Witt (Judy), Kathryn Cole and Linda Witt; and her close friends, Tracy and Marsha Morris. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Harrisburg Memorial Cemetery.
