She was predeceased by: her parents, Zachariah Wallace and Louise Weaver Wallace; her former husband James Ray'Jim'Alderson; and her husband Melvin Mathes. She is survived by: her children, Michael Alderson of Forrest City, Lori Alderson of Jonesboro and Debra Jennings (Shannon) of Marion; her grandchildren, Caitlin, Parker and Rider; and her great grandchild Asher.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stevens Funeral Home (220 N Washington St, Forrest City, AR 72335). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at the McDaniel Cemetery (360 Sfc 732, Forrest City, AR 72335).
