He is survived by: his mother Earline Nix McElya of Harrisburg; his son Sean McElya of Williford, His; and his siblings, Cathy Maxwell of Hardy, Charlotte McKay of Batesville and Kevin McElya of Ash Flat. He is also survived by several nieces, nep0hews and cousins.
