He was predeceased by: his mothers, Elma Ray and Mildred Fearson; his stepdaughter Lula Foster; his grandparents, Alice Fearson and Jessie Fearson; and his aunts and uncles, Pinkie Marie, Bernice Fearson, Clifford and Leon Warren.
He is survived by: his children, Derrick Holt of Chicago, Audretta Joseph of Indianapolis, Barbara Joseph of Indianapolis, Tammy Gray of Indianapolis and Tamaka Joseph of Indianapolis; and his siblings, Yvonne Ray of Chicago and Rodney Clopton of Chicago. He is also survived by great-great grandchildren, relatives and friends.
