Carolyn Janice Scercy Obituary
Carolyn Janice Scercy, 60, of Harrisburg, Arkansas passed away at her home on December 14, 2024. She was born on February 9, 1964 in Harrisburg, Arkansas to Eugene and Deana (Austin) Evans. Carolyn was a member of Faith Family Fellowship in Trumann, Arkansas. She enjoyed napping, watching westerns, eating sweets, playing piano, and spending time with her family.
Survivors include; husband of 35 years: Chris Scercy of the home; two daughters: Elizabeth Crawford (Luis) of Harrisburg, Arkansas and Alisha Anschultz (Jordan) of Harrisburg, Arkansas; four grandchildren: Devan Crawford, Leighla Crawford, Dallas Anschultz, Harper Anschultz; three sisters: Sandra White (Darrell) of Harrisburg, Arkansas, Bonnie Gray (John) of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Sally Gray (Shannon) of Jonesboro, Arkansas; one brother: Danny Evans of Harrisburg, Arkansas; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.
She is preceded in death by; her parents: Eugene and Deana (Austin) Evans; two brothers: Larry Byrd and Ronnie Byrd; and one nephew: Josh Luff.
Pallbearers: Jeremy Luff, Nathaniel Gray, Terry Matney, Billy Scercy, Brian Scercy, and Mark Lawson.
Honorary Pallbearers: Souled Out Ministries.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. at Salvation Ministries in Jonesboro, Arkansas with Bro. Eddy LaPiro officiating. The family will receive visitors at the church from 11:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Bolivar Cemetery in Harrisburg, Arkansas under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
