He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert P. Barker and Elsie Inez Hendrix (Welty); and his sisters, Charlene Pierce and Janie Sue Barker. He is survived by: his wife Sandra L. Barker (Brueske); his daughters, Kathy Odom (Mike) of Diaz, Karen Metzger (Wayne) of Newport, Lorrie Tubbs (John) of Tuckerman and Christy Beshears (David) of Tuckerman; his stepson Curtis Johnson of Oakaloosa, Kansas; and his siblings, William Barker (Judy) of Newport, Kenneth Barker of Brownsville, Jimmy P. Barker of Harrisburg, Dovie Howard of Midway and Minnie Moore (Bobby) of Newport. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, and a lifetime of friends.
