He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert McCoy and Tisha Treat McCoy; his wife Donna Faye Hoffpauir McCoy; his son Russell Wade McCoy; his granddaughters, Brandy and Kimberly; and his siblings, Mary Obeda McCoy, George Hugh McCoy, James McCoy, David McCoy and Bobby Franklin McCoy.
He is survived by: his children, Jackie McCoy (Carolyn Sue) of Big Flat, Rickie McCoy (Billie) of Big Flat and Sharon McClatchy (Bud) of Big Flat; and his sister Estelene Schmidt of Kansas. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; forty-two great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren.
