He was predeceased by: his wife Earline Callahan; his sons, Grady Earl and Bruce Terry; and his siblings, Homer Bryan, Robert Bryan and Mary Alice Wisehart.

He is survived by: his granddaughter Sherry Gibson; and his nieces, Sondra Morgan, Barbara Johnson, Kay Rather, Eleanor Carroll, Ramona Beard, Donna Forrest and Denise Montgomery.

He died October 9, 2020, at West Plains, Missouri, at the age of 96 of Covid-19.
