He is survived by: his wife Janet Miles Calkins Thomas; his sons, Brian Thomas (Rose) of Mabelvale and Glen Thomas (Shelley) of Memphis, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Robertson (Daniel) of Blue Springs, Brian Thomas Jr. (Mindy Mayfield) of Eupora, Patrick Thomas (Taylor) of San Antonio, Maria Thomas of Kansas City, John Paul Thomas of Mabelvale, Jason Grant of Paragould, Jessica Fears (Dennis) of Oxford, Lyndon Thomas of Chattanooga and Colin Thomas of Memphis, Tennessee; and his great grandchildren, Willa, Harrison, Zoe, Madalyn, Anna Grace, Mila, Leo, Olivia, Benjamin, Lily, Connor, Anastasia, Warren, William, Patrick Jr., Layne and Miles.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made either to the Ash Flat United Methodist Church or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
