He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Thyer and Mary Thyer (Pritchard); and his siblings, Wallace and June. He is survived by: his wife Julia; his children, Chris (Cindy Thyer), Brad (Margie Thyer), Bobby (Deidre Thyer) and Jodie (Jim Baker); his grandchildren, Alexis Wheat, Jack Thyer, Will Thyer, Mason Baker, Victoria Thyer, Brylee Baker, Braden Thyer, Elizabeth Thyer and Zane Thyer; his great grandchild Carter Wheat; and his stepson Perrin Smith.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to an animal rescue program or facility of the donor's choice.
