He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Hatfield and Hazel Hatfield (Green); his children, Christopher Hatfield, Lonnie Hatfield and Donna Jo Hatfield; his granddaughter Stevie Harris; and his siblings, Billy Hatfield, Merle Hatfield, Floyd Hatfield, Freddie Hatfield, Helen Jones, Virginia Barnett, Elwanda Hall and Glenda Brock.
He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Hatfield (Melton); his sons, Glenn Hatfield (Michele) of Gilbertsville, Roger Hatfield of Eddyville and Rick Still (Andrea) of Stuttgart, Arkansas; his siblings, Nick Hatfield (Jackie) of Smithland, Kentucky and Aretta Hubbard (George) of Smithland, Kentucky; and his grandchildren, Christa, Misty, Jacob, Amber, Faith, Krystal, Brandon, Saxton, Charly, Raymundo, Luciano, Josh, Jeremy and Brittany. He is also survived by thirty great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews.
