With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of George Wolverton of Hardy, Arkansas, born in Ash Flat, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 11, 2024 at the age of 75. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Lee and Delora Mae Jones Wolverton; his brother John; and his children, Jason Anderson and Tina.
He is survived by: his wife Sonja Gail Mullens Wolverton; his children, Robert Wolverton (Robin) of Salem, Arkansas, Jamie Hall (Michael) of Flippin, Marion Wolverton (Ricky) of Highland and Sharon Robinson (Kenny) of Illinois; his grandchildren, Katelynn, Kaylen, Keith, Jacob and Dakota; and his siblings, Walter (Joyce) of Agnos, Bill (Lea) of Alabama, Odis (Annette) of Ash Flat, Lydia Sliger of Ash Flat and Rose Wolverton (Jennifer) of Branson, Missouri. He is also survived by many other relatives and good friends.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Crossroads Baptist Church (209 US-62, Ash Flat, AR 72513).
