With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Freddie Joe Rees of Hardy, Arkansas, born in Thayer, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 24, 2025 at the age of 82. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Freddie Joe leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Freddie Joe may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Arthur and Juanita Rees (Rumsey); and his wife Pat Rees (Wiles). He is survived by: his children, Belinda Kalas (Fred) of Cleveland, Texas, Freddie Joe Rees II of Hardy, Matt Rees (Carrie) of Hardy and Eric Rees (Tonya) of Hardy. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; several other relatives and many friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Hardy First Baptist Church (411 Church St, Hardy, AR 72542). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
