It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Delthafleta Smith (Hardy, Arkansas), born in Williford, Arkansas, who passed away on January 27, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse James and Flora Morgan Hammock; and her husband Jesse James Smith. She is survived by: her children, Mitzi Carmon (David) of Springdale, Arkansas and Gary Smith (Wilma) of Highland; her grandchildren, Jordan Carmon (Trina) and Morgan Blais (Chaz); her great grandchildren, Haytham Jesse, Emery Mae Carmon, Jaxon Ryan and Beckham James Blais; and her brother Philip Hammock (Brenda) of Highland. She is also survived by many other relatives and good friends.
