He is survived by: his wife Felicia; his daughters, Gloria McKenzie (Lonnie) of Cherokee Village and Elizabeth Austin (Bruce) of North Highlands, California; his stepson Alvin Leon Tipton; and his siblings, Leon Gwaltney (Emma), Rachel Britts (Ron) and Patsy Gwaltney. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
