He is survived by: his children, Verna Newton of Hampton, Cleve, Lucy Priddy of Locust Bayou and John; his mother Onnye Newton of Hampton; his siblings, Cheryl Furr (Dallas) of Locust Bayou, Kristi Branch (Jim Bob) of Camden and Rick Newton (Angela) of Hampton; and his child Phideaux.
