She was predeceased by: her parents, John Priddy and Lucy Priddy (Waldrip) of Locust Bayou, AR.; her husband James Vernon Newton; and her sons, James Carroll Newton, Danny Dwayne Newton and Robert C. Newton.
She is survived by: her daughter Cheryl Furr (Dallas); her daughter-in-law Pam Newton; her children, Ricky Newton (Angela), Lisa Newton and Kristi Branch (Jim Bob); her close friend Henrietta Moore; her great grandchildren, David, Lindsey Furr Bethea, Briane Furr and Matt Caira Newton Williams (Heidi); and her grandchildren, William Ben Newton, Andrea Hammett, Dianne Newton, Daniel, Amber Newton Foster, Ricky Belin, Ashlyn Kaufman (Elliott), Brent, Shayna Newton, Paul, Ashley Newton Davis (Danilee), Grant, Jenni Newton Nutt (Swaide), Paige Webb Sweetin (Duke), Payne, Taylor Webb, Gunner Branch and Gabriella Tidwell.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hampton Church of Christ. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
