He is survived by: his daughter Donna Dempsey of Fort Worth, Texas; his grandsons, Eric Dempsey of Austin and Jared Dempsey of Fort Worth, Texas; his sister Henrietta Sanford of Florida; and his fiancée Mary Banks of Little Rock.
