She was predeceased by: her husband Rev. Hunter E. Carpenter; her parents, Ira Homer and Willie Emma Turner Graves; and her sisters, Evelyn Faye Carpenter and Norma Graves Wheeler.
She is survived by: her children, Rev. Tim Carpenter (Dianna) of Hot Springs and Gail Carter (Randall Carter) of Van Buren; her brother Jerry Wayne Graves (Janis) of Hamburg; and her grandchildren, Adrianna Carter of Rogers, Andrew Carpenter of Hot Springs and Will Carpenter of Hot Springs. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
