He is survived by: his children, Ricky Simpson Carter (Joann) of Prairieville, Louisiana, Steven Curtis Carter (Theresa) of French Settlement, Louisiana, Becky Carter Davis (Raymond) of Hamburg, Arkansas, Treswell Simpson Carter, Jr. of Crossett, Arkansas and George Michael Carter (Debra) of Beekman, Louisiana.; and his siblings, Jeanette Collins of Tyler, Texas, Elizabeth Tillerson (Don) of McKinney, Texas, Billy Anderson Carter (Ann) of Houston, Texas and Robert Carter (Janice) of Houston, Texas.. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
