With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rufus McClain of Hamburg, Arkansas, who passed away on April 28, 2021 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son Michael McClain; his grandson Benjamin Cook; his parents, Rufus Burns and Fannie Mae Pace McClain; and his siblings, Arnold, Arthur, Alphis, Adriane, Eddie McClain, Bertie Locke, Jessie Kyle, Beatrice Mills, Willie McClain and Lois Hemphill.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Jeffers-McClain; his children, Wayne McClain (Diane) of Hamburg, Sue Jeffers of Crossett, Beverly McClain of Crossett and Marsha Mitchell (Samuel) of Eldorado; and his grandchildren, Brittney Roberson, Gina Creekmore, Brad Boykin, Ashley Henry, Shane (Jonathan Cook) and Charles Jeffers, Jr.. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
