He was predeceased by: his parents, Doyle McDougald and Lucille Harville McDougald; his siblings, Norwood "Chink" McDougald, Roger McDougald and Gloria Jean Bowden; and his nephew Alan McDougald.

He is survived by: his sons, Austin McDougald of Pine Bluff and Jason McDougald.
