He was predeceased by: his parents, Maxwell Lee Hill and Eloise Fern Bates Hill; his stepmother Mary Sue Norsworthy Hill; and his siblings, Tracey Hill and Karon Carter.
He is survived by: his niece Katie Ellen Carter Shumate; his nephew Caleb Carter; his wife Katherine Sadler Hill of Hamburg; his children, Dean Hill, II (Jennifer) and Becky Brooks (Mike) of Portland; his brothers, Philip Hill of Monticello, Rickey Hill of California and Walter Hill of Hamburg; his stepsister Charlun Brett of Nashville; his grandchildren, Josh Brooks (Meagan), Max Hill (Danielle), Payton Brooks, James Hill (Ashley) and Anna Furlong (Tyler); and his great grandchildren, Eloise Claire Brooks, Jonah Brooks, Wyatt Hill, Harper Hill, Jackson Dean Hill and Heath Hill. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
