With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jim Rush of Hamburg, Arkansas, born in DeWitt, Arkansas, who passed away on March 23, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Jim may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, O. C. "Dude" Rush and Sissie Currie Rush; his sisters, Susan Lady Rush and Patsy K. Watson; and his brother-in-law Bill Watson.
He is survived by: his son Chris; his brother Bob Rush (Charlotte) of Crossett; and his grandchildren, Madeline Ward Rush and Andrew Creed Rush.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Pinewood Memorial Park (688 State Hwy 52 W, Hamburg, AR 71646).
Memorials may be made to the charity or organization of the donor's choice.
