He was predeceased by: his wife Sherry Jackson Thompson; his parents, Robby Thompson and Noma Dean Thompson; and his mother-in-law Sylvia Hackett Pierce. He is survived by: his sons, Tyler Thompson (Mallori) and Hunter Thompson (Punky); his brother Gene Thompson (Pat) of Hamburg; his sister-in-law Stephanie Jackson (B. J.) of Monticello; and his friends, Linda Hickman, Ann Brooks, Carmen Smith, Dee Dee Smith, Joyce and Rick McKelvey. He is also survived by two nieces and a nephew; his special neighbor.
