It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Ray Yarbrough (Hamburg, Arkansas), born in Laurel, Mississippi, who passed away on May 24, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Walter and Roberta Gatlin Yarbrough; his stepmother Ann Yarbrough; and his grandparents, L. D., Ellie Bodie Gatlin, Walter H. Yarber and Christine Reddoch.
He is survived by: his pets, Axel and Atticus; his wife Linda Gardner Yarbrough of Hamburg; his sons, Ray Yarbrough (Amy) of Crowley and Clyne Yarbrough of Hamburg; his siblings, Beth McMichael (James) of Eucutta, Kim Ramsey (John) of Thomasville, Alabama and Jimmy; his sister-in-law Ginger Gardner of Waynesboro, Mississippi; his grandchildren, Alec Yarbrough of Hamburg, Gauge Yarbrough of Hamburg and Julieanna Yarbrough Jones of Katy; and his daughter-in-law Misty Winters of Hamburg. He is also survived by his wife and spoiled her, his children were his joy, he loved his daughters-in-law.
