He was predeceased by: his father Frank Charles Skender; his sister Cynthia Lynn Skender Brantley; and his grandparents, Frank, Opal Skender, Eugene and Rea Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Derek Skender of Hamburg, Frank Skender of Yulee, Florida, Caroline Skender of Jacksonville and Jessica Skender of Yulee, Florida; his mother Peggy Johnson Skender of Crossett; and his grandchildren, Caiden, Piper, Khloe and Scarlett.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home Chapel (302 E Lincoln St, Hamburg, AR 71646). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at the Parkdale Cemetery.
