He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Frank and Cornelius Brazell Carnell; and his siblings, Steve Carnell, Debbie Carnell and Raylene Sodl.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Rice Carnell; his children, Dustin Carnell (Kody) of Monroe Louisiana and Angel Slaughter (Allen) of Hamburg, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Simon, Steven, Mark, Grace and Emma; and his sister Lynn Fisk of Winnsboro. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
