She was predeceased by: her husband Dennis James Tanksley; her parents, Olin Ray and Peble Andrews Murphy; and her siblings, Ray Murphy and Vera Mae Murphy Adams.
She is survived by: her children, Dennis "James" Tanksley, Jr. (Jazmine) of Hamburg and Jenny Tanksley Cendejas (Ramón) of Lake Village; her siblings, Brenda Nelms (Frankie) of Crossett, Marie Chandler of Crossett, Helen Johnson of Crossett, Faye Ritzell of Crossett, Willard Murphy (Mary) of El Dorado and Rondle Murphy of Louisiana; her grandchildren, Bliss of Jasmine, J. C., Kaven, Logan, Allen, Jessica and Jymma Klair; and her great grandchildren, Brayden, Bryson, Bryer and Nevaeh. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
