He was loved and cherished by many people including: his friend Jimmy Pennington; his father Willie Wood Carpenter; his brothers, James "Pete" Carpenter, Waymond Vance Carpenter and Doyle Carpenter; his grandparents, Tom and Lena Bozeman; his wife Donna Losh Carpenter; his daughter Stacey Carpenter Martin; his mother Lena Maxie Bozeman Carpenter of Hamburg; his brothers, Haskell Carpenter (Rita) of Crossett and Willie Mac Carpenter of Hamburg; and his siblings-in-law, Debbie Taxiera (Phil) of Fayetteville, David Losh (Julie) of Leonardtown and Douglas Losh of Lothian. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
