It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carlis Brooks of Hamburg, Arkansas, born in Lake Village, Arkansas, who passed away on June 2, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his great grandchild Lane Austin Rice; his parents, Claude Brooks and Marjorie Worthy Brooks; and his siblings, Gene Brooks, Huey Brooks, Rita Faye Brooks, Neicie Newberry and Sharon Qualls.
He is survived by: his wife Patsy Cox Brooks of Hamburg; his children, Benji Brooks (Cynthia) of Hamburg, Monty Brooks (Keri) of Cotter, Candi Fleming (Clint) of Hamburg, Crissy Parrott (Josh) of Crossett and Cindy Holloway of Camden; his sisters, Dee Record of Henderson and Monica Smith of Hamburg; and his grandchildren, Julie Morgan, Destiny Brooks, Kelsey Rice, Caleb Gregorcyk, Aiden Gregorcyk, Noah Brooks, Drew Fleming, Kyle Fleming, Austin Fleming, Brooklyn Cendejas, Paris Holloway and Bodie Parrott. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
