It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Cannon Sawyer (Hamburg, Arkansas), who passed away on January 21, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Billy Nelson Sawyer, Jr.; her parents, Hubert Cannon and Gladys Hardin Cannon; and her siblings, Charles "Blackie" Cannon, Jimmy Cannon, Annie Jean Funderburg and Elizabeth "Libby" Wallace.
She is survived by: her husband Billy Nelson Sawyer, Sr. of Hamburg; her children, Virginia Lorene Sawyer of Gonzalez and Pamela Beaty (David) of Damascus; her sister Judy Cannon Grimes (Larry) of Ashdown; and her sister-in-law Rosemary Cannon of Hamburg. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
