He was predeceased by: his father Vester Roger Burchfield; his daughter Kara Burchfield; and his siblings, Bud Burchfield, Jimmy Guy Burchfield and Betty Francis Burchfield Chesser.
He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Burchfield; his children, Scott Burchfield, Deena Bailey (Rodney) and Kristen Hill (Doug); his brother Billy Wayne Burchfield (Bev); and his grandchildren, Kameron Burchfield, Mackane Burchfield, Camille Burchfield, Madison Dettmer, Anna Clare Burnett, Halley Burnett, Drake Hill and Tanner Bailey.
