He is survived by: his sons, Jacky Dean (Alesha Hicks) of Dover, Jeremy Joe Hicks of Hagarville, Jerrod Preston Hicks of Hector, Donny Joe (Denise Hicks) of Lamar, Coy Lee (Betty Hicks) of Lamar and Doyle Lynn (Karen Hicks) of Hector; his sister Rita Joyce (Larry Spellman) of Canyon City, CO; and his grandchildren, Lara Hicks and Emma-Lou Hicks.
