He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl D. Pitts and Dee Ray Carlisle Pitts; and his wife Janelle Hefner Pitts. He is survived by: his sons, Byron Scott Pitts (Donna), Steven Earl Pitts (Robin), Lee Wes Pitts (Nance) and Jeffery Brooks Pitts; and his brothers, Donald Pitts and Dennis Pitts. He is also survived by his 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
