He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Hamby and Ann Hamby (Moody); his son Keith Hamby; and his brother Bernard Hamby. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Hamby of Hackett; and his children, Ronnie Hamby of Hackett, Roger Hamby of Poteau, OK, Jim Bennett of Michigan, David Bennett of Michigan, Wade Bennett of Hackett and Becky Bennett of Michigan. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Arkansas Children's Hospital.
