She was predeceased by: her husbands, James Cooper and Don McClendon; her stepsons, Donald and James McClendon; and her brother Charles Webb.

She is survived by: her children, Sam Cooper, Marcia Cooper (Glenn Petkovsek) and Karen Archer; her stepdaughters, Karan Sue McClendon and Sharon Posey; and her sister Frankie Jenkins. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
