It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Ed Yates of Hackett, Arkansas, born in Waldron, Arkansas, who passed away on December 27, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted Yates and Dona Yates; his brothers, Glynn, Robert, Buddy and Allen; and his niece Carolyn Yates.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his sons, William Yates (Carrie) of Casper, WY, James Yate (Jerrie) of Cheyenne, WY and Tim Lovell of Pocola, OK; his siblings, Tina Richards (John) of Sacramento, CA, Phil Yates (Celeste) of Kemah, TX and Gene Hagan (Maribel) of Colorado Springs, CO; and his sister-in-law Doris Yates of Conroe, TX. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
