He was predeceased by: his parents, John Joseph and Eva Mae Heidenthal (Shelton); his daughter Elenora Lorenson; and his granddaughter Lily Lorenson. He is survived by: his wife Chantay Heidenthal; his sons, Richard DeSalvo (Jamie) of Fort Smith and Dominic DeSalvo of Fort Smith; his son-in-law Luke Lorenson of Greenwood; his sisters, Linda Richardson (Jerry) of Tulsa and Freida Becker (Bill) of Booneville; and his grandchildren, Luke Lorenson, Alexander Lorenson, Izerlind DeSalvo, Remington DeSalvo and Gauge DeSalvo. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Sabina and Mary Catholic Church (14304 Old Jenny Lind Loop, Fort Smith, AR 72916).
